Join the SAAA community dedicated to advancing accounting education and research in Southern Africa. Whether you are an academic, a professional, or an institution, there is a membership category especially for you.

The SAAA has five types of membership.
  • Academic membership is open to all lecturers and researchers in Accountancy and its related fields at universities and universities of technology across Southern Africa.
Other membership opportunities include:
  • Honorary membership: By invitation, recognising exceptional contributions to accounting education and research.
  • Practising membership: For members of recognised professional bodies or former academics who wish to stay connected to education and research.
  • Associate membership: For individuals who support the goals of the SAAA but do not qualify for academic or practising membership.
  • Institutional membership: For professional bodies, firms, and companies involved in accounting and auditing education.
